THE STORY OF SWEET MANGO MATCHA
Tis matcha is the perfect blend of tropical notes with grassy green tea undertones. Each sip bursts with juicy mango flavor complemented by the mellow, earthy character of the tea. Vibrant fruity highlights waken your tastebuds and senses, while soothing and calming your mind.
This non-traditional flavored green tea matcha powder offers rich, full flavor that is delicious straight or whisks into a thick, creamy matcha latte. We also recommend trying it iced for a bright and lively summer treat! This unique matcha powder can be used in smoothies, baking, and even cocktails.
The famed tea of Japan's ancient Chanoyu tea ceremony, matcha has long been associated with the principles of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility. To create our sweet matcha, we use only luxury grade leaf, ground in small batches in a Canadian matcha mill.
Unlike other teas in which the leaves are brewed and discarded, matcha is powdered. The leaf itself is consumed, amplifying the health benefits of green tea, which contains antioxidants like EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) and L-theanine. These are said to have a wealth of wellness benefits.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT TEA: Place approximately half a teaspoon of Matcha in your cup. Infuse with 8oz/250ml of water heated to 80-85 degrees celcius, whisk briskly and enjoy.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS FOR MATCHA LATTE: Place half a teaspoon in a cup and infuse with water heated to 80-85 degrees. Whisk until a smooth paste is formed. Add steamed milk and sweeten to taste. If you have a frother, froth away, but excellent results can be achieved by simply adding hot milk.
